Xbox One will be available on 22nd November 2013, in all 13 of Microsoft’s initial launch markets – including the UK
· This week, Xbox One began full production in our preparation for launch: a product culminating from many years of listening to you, Xbox fans, developing innovative technology, and working with the best game and entertainment partners in the industry has brought them to this point.
· Xbox One pre-orders have sold out at many retailers, putting Microsoft on track for the biggest Xbox launch ever, and they’ve worked hard to ensure an additional supply of Xbox One Day One consoles are now available for pre-order via our retail partners.
· Microsoft’s development teams have increased the CPU from 1.6GHZ to 1.75GHZ, roughly a 10 percent increase in CPU performance. This is in addition to the 6% increase they previously announced for the GPU a few weeks ago. The result is that Xbox One will have that much more power for developers to make their games and entertainment really shine.
