PS5 Review: A Little to the Left

If only I could clean this easily in real life…

A Little to the Left is a cozy puzzle game that has you sort, stack, and organize household items into pleasing arrangements while you keep an eye out for a mischievous cat with an inclination for chaos. Check out this playful and intuitive puzzler with 100+ satisfying messes to tidy.

If you’ve ever had OCD for cleaning then this game is for you. You’ll spend your time rearranging everything from books in order of size or a jigsaw in the form of a ripped note and everything in-between. It’s a very chilled game with no pressure of a time limit, you can ask for hints if you wish too. Some of the puzzle solutions can be a bit obscure so asking for help isn’t the end of the world.

What I appreciated about the game though, is that there are sometimes more than one way to complete a puzzle. For instance, you might get a bunch of pasta shapes and have to order them from tallest to shortest, but the reverse option may also work. It’s a neat idea and get you to think of other solutions to the puzzles once you’ve already done them.

Sometimes you won’t even be sure of your solution, only for a cat’s paw to mess up the entire puzzle…but it still means you’ve passed at least one way. The visuals are simplistic but have a nice charm to them and the music is calming throughout.

The Verdict

A Little to the Left is a big departure from the average game where it’s action 24/7. This is a very chilled game with no stress put on the player, plus there’s something incredibly satisfying about sorting and stacking household objects (at least in-game).
