We take the latest Gioteck accessories for a spin…
Over the past few weeks, I have been using two new Gioteck accessories for Nintendo Switch. The HC2 Decal Edition Stereo Gaming Headset and the WX-4 Premium Wireless Switch Controller. How have they held up under pressure? Well, let’s take a look.
HC2 Decal Edition Stereo Gaming Headset
This is a wired headset with a 3.5mm headset jack. It’s pretty much compatible with every device that used an audio jack, including mobiles, controllers and PCs. The sound quality is impressive overall and it feels comfortable to wear. It comes with a couple of decal stickers so you can make it look how you want and these vary from camo style to ones that look like something from Minecraft.
Applying them were relatively easy, but the most impressive part is the price point. This headset only costs £14.99 which is insane considering the overall quality here. I’ve been using them over the past few weeks and have experienced no issues while using them either on a console or on my mobile. If you don’t have the budget for a big wireless headset, then you can do a lot worse than pick up this model.
WX-4 Premium Wireless Switch Controller
This controller uses Bluetooth and can connect not only to Switch, but also to PS3 and to PC. I’ve been using it mostly for Switch and while it can’t compete with the official Pro Controller, it is still a very comfortable controller and is also damn cheap at £24.99. There are different looking models, while the one I got had the same Minecraft style design that the HC2 headset came with as a decal.
The controller has a decent battery life, but also programmable back buttons and anti-slip thumb grips. It’s a really comfy controller and definitely worth picking up if you are in the market for a Bluetooth controller.
The Verdict
Gioteck have delivered some top quality products at an amazingly cheap price. The quality is impressive and I’m looking forward to seeing what else they can come up with.
