E3 2017: Ubisoft Press Conference Highlights

June 12, 2017 by

Mario and Rabbids! Assassin’s Creed Origins! Far Cry 5! Oh and BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL 2!

Ubisoft have just finished their 2017 E3 Briefing and what a show it was! First, Shigeru Miyamoto joined the stage to show off the much-rumoured Mario and Rabbids RPG for the Nintendo Switch:

A new trailer for AC Origins:

The Crew 2 got a first trailer:

Sea of Thieves has some competition on the high seas in this pirate game, Skull and Bones:

A quick look at the upcoming South Park: The Fractured But Whole:

As well as a surprise announcement for a South Park mobile game:

There was a teaser for a VR game that Elijah Wood is involved in:

As well as a make-your-own-spaceship game that connects to your controller with additional parts that can be swapped in and out. Think of it as a aerial combat version of Skylanders/Lego Dimensions:

And another quick look at Far Cry 5, which will include co-op as well as guns for hire:

But the BIG reveal that I don’t think anyone saw coming was the unveiling of BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL 2!

Ubisoft know how to throw a spanner in the works…I didn’t see that coming. A great E3 from them and next up is Sony. Can they compete with the Xbox One X? Will they have some secret exclusives up their sleeves? We’ll find out in just a few hours time!
