Will you be wowed over by Wii U?
Pikmin 3, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon were the big names to grace Nintendo’s Media Briefing. Sure, we had versions of Arkham City and Scribblenauts coming, but the New Super Mario Bros games for Wii U and 3DS played it a bit safe.
Nintendoland was the big focus from the conference and I don’t really understand why. Maybe during the week Ninty will unveil details on Animal Crossing 3DS or god hoping….Zelda or Metroid, because we got nothing.
The Wii U looks impressive on the whole, but the conference was lackluster. Overall, E3 2012 has been a major disappointment so far. No real new announcements, we already knew about Pikmin 3 and while it was nice to see them in action, E3 has always been about surprises like a new Halo, Zelda or Metroid.
Let’s hope GamesCom and TGS improve things…
