MXO Weekly Update: 29th Sept

As we head into October (Sunday, my 19th, w00t!) It's time for the last MXO Update of September.

We had our 5 story missions this month so zilch this week on the mission front but there were some Live Events.

Exile Ookami hunts Unlimits

Anome Attempts A Business Offer But Fails Miserably

Unlimits Attempt On A Merv Construct Firewall

Now that that's done, I'm going to put my feet up and get drunk. It's been a long week folks...

Episode 20: The End?

Episode 20 is now available to download here and I've been considering the fate of the podcast. Those of you who havent listened to this episode let me give you a summing up of what I suggested.

This will be down to a vote for the survival or destruction of the podcast. By next Thursday if it seems my voice is no longer required then Episode 21 will be my farewell episode, if not then it will be my Thank You episode.

Get voting!

MXO Weekly Update- Week 4 Sept

Apologies for the delay with the update. Work has been a bit hectic what with all the games i've had to review lately. Anyway down to business:

Gray pushes Unlimit to suicide

Seraph Wanders

Persephone's Stalker is caught

Missions last week included me interrogating Beirn, the Unlimit obsessed with Persephone. More attacks on the areas where Tastee Wheat is made and the manager has gone missing, finally we almost ambushed Anome only to find it was a simulacra.

MXO News: Weekly Update

Ok now its time for a extra dose of MXO News since I didnt do it last week:

First off the Live Events:

Seraph searches for someone

Persephone tries to ambush her stalker

Anome's Unlimit Soldiers attack Power Stations

and finally, Niobe meets the Oracle

Things really are progressing nicely in the storyline. Last week I had to patch up a row between the Merv and Persephone, kill some more Unlimits who were caught near a Tastee Wheat factory and I met Agent Pace (Female Agent, would you believe it!) after rescuing a few peeps.

Told you I'd get screenshots! This week's missions were kinda short but had some relevance. They mostly consisted of me going to a location and killing Unlimits. Though the Machine mission was different...I actually had to bring some Dead Flies to an Unlimit who thought the Assassin is after him. Now the Assassin was "killed" ages back but there seems to be a lot pointing in the direction that he may have survived his ordeal and is back for vengeance. Time will tell if this theory is right but its what I think...at least Agent Gray keeps a positive thought on the Unlimit's paranoia:
The Merv's mission this week was different also, it involved convincing Beirn (An Unlimit obsessed with Persephone) into meeting her at a venue but he done a runner before I got there and Persephone was being held hostage by Unlimits which I had to take out with the aid of 2 exiles. Which was pointless since Unlimits are extremely powerful in a group and they lasted all of a minute. I had to jack back in a few times to defeat them and I didnt even get a thank you from Persephone. Bitch!

That pretty much wraps up the past two weeks in the Matrix Online. Next week will be business as usual and apologies for the lack of an edition last week.

Until next time, Ciao!

I bet your wondering that very question...what happened to Friday's MXO Update? Well to be honest there was not a lot to report on for that week and I did post the cinematic around that time but rest assured this Friday I will post an ultra-long article covering the past two weeks and I'll add some screenshots too! Aren't I generous? Also be sure to download my podcast and stay tuned for Episode 18 on Thursday!

MXO Cinematic 5.3

Just to let you know, yes I will be doing the MXO Weekly Update this week on Friday when I've got around to doing the new critical missions to report on and then I will close up with some Live Event links and info. I'd attend them myself if I was based in the US but because of the time difference I always seem to miss them. Ah well...
